Who is eligible?
Only an account holder who is receiving Universal Credit or Pension Credit can apply. When we have validated your details and eligibility, we’ll do all we can to process your new Essential broadband service. Please note, we may ask for your National Insurance number, so we can check you’re eligible.

How do I apply?
To apply, you’ll need to prove eligibility. You’ll need to provide evidence of your online Universal Credit or Pension Credit Payments page that clearly identifies your name, address and payment dates. We’ll check to see if you’re still eligible for Universal Credit or Pension Credit every 6 months. If you are, you will continue to be charged £15 a month for County Broadband Essential tariff.
