Our Team

Our management structure reflects the fact that we need key people and key talent in the business. Our Executive Management Team looks after the strategy of the business, reporting to our board of investors.

The Senior Management Team looks after the day-to-day operation of the business functions.

Together they work in sync to make sure that County Broadband achieves its vision to ensure communities can access Hyperfast broadband.

Executive Management Team

  • Gill Reading

    Director of Corporate Services

    Gill is responsible for providing support services to the company, including business administration, business intelligence, human resources, IT and premises. Gill previously held senior financial roles in the automotive and agricultural sectors before joining County Broadband at the beginning of its journey.

  • James Salmon

    Director of Sales

    James is responsible for the identification, and sales implementation for all new fibre project areas, together with overall responsibility for all sales in the business. James has been involved in sales and marketing for over almost 30 years across a number of different sectors including Beer, Wine, Insurance and Telecoms and has been driving the sales across County Broadband since 2013.

  • Lloyd Felton

    Chief Executive Officer

    Lloyd started County Broadband with the vision of helping isolated communities access better broadband, via wireless broadband signals. In 2018, that all changed when County Broadband started building full-fibre broadband networks. Lloyd and County Broadband celebrated a major step forward when Aviva Investors agreed to provide funding of £46million which will enable the growth of a major fibre-to-the-home roll-out across East Anglia, which follows Lloyd’s passion and vision of helping rural communities get the best broadband available.

  • Paul Thompson

    Director of Delivery and Operations

    Paul is responsible for the build and operations of the FWA and Fibre networks within County Broadband Limited with the aim of creating a future proofed network and providing an excellent customer experience. He has over 20 years’ experience in the telecoms business and has delivered large and complex networks throughout the UK, Europe and the North America.

  • Terfel Roberts, FCCA

    Chief Financial Officer

    Terfel is responsible for the finance function, business planning and supply chain management within the company, Terfel is also a Director of County Broadband Holdings Limited. Terfel has run business units and held senior financial and commercial positions within the Communications industry for over 40 years, most notably at O2 in the UK and Nextel Communications in the US.

  • Lewis Simington

    Director of People Operations

    Lewis heads up the Human Resources section for the business, managing the people plan for County Broadband. This includes ensuring that we recruit the right talent as well as driving a culture that engages, rewards and develops our people. Lewis has been in Human Resources for over 10 years and brings with him a wealth of experience.

Senior Management Team

  • Cheriton Alexander

    PR and Communications Manager

    Cheriton looks after our press office and corporate and stakeholder communications plans across our build areas. Cheriton joins us with a wealth of experience specialising in PR campaign strategy, planning and execution across B2B and B2C PR campaigns. She began her career in financial services, spending 10 years working with top UK banks, before completing her Journalism degree and gaining an ACIPR in Public Relations.

  • David Dunn

    Customer Service Manager

    David is responsible for the Customer Care team, this includes our: Customer Service Team, Technical Customer Support, Field Engineers and the Customer Connection Team. David has worked for us as Business Sales prior to his current role. David has a management background in retail and financial services and is passionate about providing first class customer service. David and his team as the first line support look forward to taking your calls.

  • Lucy Alderson

    Financial Controller

    Lucy is responsible for the financial management and control for County Broadband. Whilst not from the communications industry, she has experience in various different industries and has got over 20 years’ experience working in Accounts, with the last 7 years at director level.

  • Martin Cook

    Head of QSHE

    Martin is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, quality and welfare of the workplace environment making sure that standards are maintained within all our operations. Martin began his career as an apprentice in BT nearly 40 years ago where he qualified in electrical and telecommunications engineering, he has an extensive knowledge of our industry and has a broad breadth of experience within the utilities arena.  

  • Katie Crellin

    Operations Planning and Process Manager

    Katie first started as a Technical Support Adviser at County Broadband. She then worked as a Technical Support Supervisor and in our network on-call team. She has been promoted to Operations Planning and Process Manager and with a background in broadcast engineering, she has a depth of crisis management and a broad set of organisational and technical skills.

  • Gavin Ashkettle

    Programme Manager

    Gavin is the Programme Manager of the Project Management Operations (PMO) division in the Delivery team. This team are responsible for achieving the end-to-end build programme across East Anglia. Gavin’s role is to ensure all active projects within our build programme are delivered on time and to budget, including managing engagement with our build partners, the council, and highways teams, on the progression of our civil engineering works. Gavin brings more than 20 years’ knowledge and experience from the telecoms industry, including 18 years with BT, where he worked closely with the Head of Resource for the UK and with various engineering teams. Since joining County Broadband in 2018, he has helped create many crucial internal and external processes.

  • Paul Speller

    Business Intelligence Manager

    Paul leads our Business Intelligence function and is responsible for data management, reporting and data analysis. Providing insightful data analytics into our Executive Management Team and helping our business units deliver an efficient service to our customers, by ensuring they have access to accurate and up-to-date information. Before joining County Broadband, Paul had a successful career in financial services spanning some 25 years. He has extensive experience in the field of Business Intelligence, has managed numerous teams of Analysts and Developers in the design, development and implementation of reporting and analytics solutions and has overseen a wide variety of data related projects.

  • Alec Campbell

    PMO Manager

    Alec is responsible for the County Broadband Project Management Office that supports network build. He is a chartered engineer with a master’s degree in engineering management. He has worked in both the private and public sectors and has extensive experience of managing delivery of fixed and wireless telecoms networks across Europe.
