Having secured significant private investment, we are now planning a major fibre-to-the home build across rural communities in the East of England, connecting thousands of homes to next generation full fibre infrastructure.

To support our growth toward becoming the leading broadband network and services provider in the area, we are looking for individuals with the knowledge, creativity, drive and determination to help the company achieve its goals effectively.

About the role

To ensure County Broadband’s documentation, systems and processes are fully aligned running efficiently, through the evaluation of existing processes, analysis and implementation of changes and to recommend adjustments where identified. In addition to help business units to develop new processes where documentation is missing or misaligned.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure continual improvement of the IMS system, ISO requirements and conformance to corporate standards.
  • Develop, implement and communicate County Broadband’s IMS and processes
  • Implement international and industry standards as well as seeking best practice.
  • Managing process integration within departments at County Broadband. Ensuring processes and procedures are understood by employees and followed in day-to-day business practices.
  • Enable County Broadband to obtain and then maintain ISO certification for 9001, 14001 and ISO45001.
  • Facilitating both internal and external audits.
  • Managing the audit schedule and undertaking internal systems audits at all sites.
  • To conduct supplier audits in accordance with the standards.
  • Play a key role in driving quality forwards across the business through the use of ISO standards and County Broadband processes.
  • Ensure business compliance of standards.
  • Manage document contro;.
  • Reporting on the performance of the IMS at the management review meetings.
  • Assist colleagues with document/process changes they may require to ensure all IMS procedures are correct in working practical.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities relating to the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Responsible for setting up and monitoring management action programmes to ensure the achievement of the IMS objectives to achieve the identified risks and opportunities.
  • To assist in the production of Business Continuity Plans. in accordance with the requirements of ISO standards

The Person

  • Accredited Auditor
  • Ability to develop and deliver documentation/procedures to improve business.
  • Self management skills.
  • Facilitation and Negotiation skills.
  • UK Driving License.

As this is role includes some working home it’s important that you are able to accommodate home working, this includes suitable space to work from and an internet connection which will support it (minimum download speed of 10Mbps).
